Jack Woolner didn’t just win the August Bank Holiday Stableford — he blew the field apart with 44 points. While single-figure handicappers scrapped for 36, Jack made it look like his PGA Tour audition, turning the club comp into a personal highlight reel

Jack’s Road to the PGA Tour – August Bank Holiday Stableford
Bank Holiday golf is usually about three things: excuses, blobs, and the BBQ afterwards. But this year, Jack Woolner turned up with a different agenda — a 44-point demolition job that made the rest of the field look like they’d accidentally signed up for crazy golf. Forget Fleetwood, Rory, or Rahm… Jack’s already polishing his Ryder Cup speech.
Rodney O’Donovan and Joe Cheong did their best impersonations of elite athletes with tidy 36s, while Martin Whitaker managed to prove that even the reigning champ can implode like a cheap tent in a gale. Meanwhile, William Gilogley provided the comic relief with an 8 on Hole 1, earning himself “Blobmeister” honours before most of us had even found the fairway.
Russell Harding deserves a mention — conquering the brutal 16th with a 4 and keeping calm on the phone at the 9th (literally). And let’s not forget Ramesh Aryal, who at least gave us a highlight reel birdie on 14 after taking the scenic route everywhere else.

““44 points on a Bank Holiday? That’s not a Stableford win, that’s a public service announcement.””
Jack overshadowed Fleetwood for a day — and Fleetwood should be grateful, because at this rate Jack’s going to need his own locker on tour. Everyone else? Back to the range, and maybe the pub.
