Tadmarton Heath Mixed Open – Couples and Cart Rage

· 5 min read · By Editorial Team

Mixed Opens: where love is tested harder than broken putters. On 10 August, four couples tied for the win—same score, very different stories.

It’s match day—with spouses. The 2025 Tadmarton Mixed Open served up 45-point miracles, double-bogey meltdowns, and a litany of 'it's your fault' tee shots.

By the turn we’d seen every flavour of disaster: tee shots aimed at counties that don’t exist, wedges used like spades, and putting strokes that should come with a government warning. The winners ground out pars; everyone else wrote a memoir on the back nine titled It Was The Wind. If you carded more blobs than birdies, congratulations — you played the authentic Tadmarton experience.

“45 points is impressive; explaining a six on a par-3 to your partner is legendary.”

Think you can do better? Prove it. Bring your best swing, your worst excuses, and a calculator for the card. Then send us your carnage — scores, selfies, and the one shot you’ll lie about forever — and we’ll roast it here next week.
